This is a part of the #100DaysOfSummer project of The PR Girl Closet, and we are now on Day 3!
Day 3, 10:00 PM, Ku De Ta Singapore
Summer nights in a tropical country is really hot so us Asians are always on light clothing at this time of the year. Not that we have four seasons which will allow us to wear cashmere, faux fur jackets and sophisticated trench coats (which is kind of sad), but April and May are the hottest months of the year in this part of the globe.
What's best about living in the tropics, though, is that you can show a lot of skin without looking in a cheap provocative way. Camisoles - lucky people can even skip the bra and wear it as it is - are a huge thing in the tropics. It looks effortlessly chic when paired with a high-waisted skirt, which is my uniform of choice, and heels. Backless maxi dresses and tops are easy to throw on at any given time. Tropical fashion is cool, easy and chic.
These photos are taken at Ku De Ta during my good friend Em's birthday celebration. This year, I have been great at retiring from the clubbing scene but I still go clubbing on special instances like this.
I'm gonna show you what tropical fashion is like during a night-out. In this post, I am wearing a top from Topshop, pencil skirt from River Island, heels from Gnossem and tassel earrings from a Philippine designer.
