When smoke gets in your eyes, hurry up and go grab a camera, toss that wavy hair and capture the surreal moment. I don't smoke but I find a certain seductive glamour of black and white photographs with women having a smoke.
Browsing through fashion reads, I have this idea of a photograph that defines seduction to it's highest power - that which consists of black pointy pumps (if you can find the highest Jimmy Choo patent pumps in your perfect size, then you're one lucky lady), black lace lingerie peeking through a black satin nightgown or the timeless Audrey Hepburn LBD matched with smokey eyes and pale lips. I haven't tried capturing my share of this glamorous moment but one day this will come to life.
My rendition of the YSL Le Smoking look is this - an aztec-printed knee-length pencil skirt paired with pointy court pumps and nothing but a black tank (in this case, I always skip the lace brassiere). Top it off with gold accessories (or should I say excessories?) and a gold minaudiere. Keeping it simple, streamlined and classy is my number one goal in dressing up.
